Where are mass vaccination sites in northwest Ohio?

MAUMEE, Ohio – The Lucas County Rec Center will serve as a mass vaccination site starting Wednesday March 31st.

At least 6,000 Johnson and Johnson recordings will be distributed during the day. Toledo-Lucas County Health Commissioner said the county will host at least one, and most likely two, mass vaccination clinics per week at the recreation center in the future. This is all part of the nationwide drive to speed up the vaccination process over the next 30 days.

While the doses all depend on how many the Ohio Department of Health assigns to Lucas County, it is fair to say that up to 10,000 doses could come in each week.

In addition, the health department needs to have weekend clinics to accommodate those who can’t make it during the week.

People with an appointment should bring ID and proof of their appointment. Fixed dates for clinics per week are not announced. It is recommended that you check the health department’s website regularly.
