Here are the top stories of today in Toledo:

  1. Toledoan Justin Eckhart was arrested for shooting in the air with a handgun during a fight for over Navarre Park On Monday. According to court records, numerous children were present for soccer training at the time. (13abc action news)
  2. Justin Middleton from Perrysburg was convicted of selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant for community checks. Middleton pleaded guilty to three counts of serious drug trafficking Wood County Common Pleas Dish. (Guard stand)
  3. Sylvania schools have reopened their virtual academy, LIVING ROOMafter residents raised concerns about mask guidelines. A mask is compulsory for primary school students and it is strongly recommended for high school students. (13abc action news)
  4. That Washington Local School Board voted unanimously to require masks for students in grades K to 6. A mask is required for all bus drivers and it is strongly recommended for high school students. (13abc action news)
  5. The intersection of Berdan Avenue. and Drexel Dr. was temporarily closed after a dump truck sank into a hole in the ground. Toledo’s Engineering Services Department reported that the hole has been filled with asphalt from the dump truck and that the crews will be returning to properly repair the site. (13abc action news)
