Regina Coeli Festival 2021 | Catholic Church Regina Coeli | Every weekend
The festival season is in full swing and this weekend you can meet a Toledo favorite again. From Friday to Sunday you can attend the Regina Coeli Festival in the Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Come on different days for spaghetti dinner, horse rides and family day on Saturday, chicken dinner on Sunday, 50/50 raffles and more.
Historical festival in the Black Swamp | White Star Quarry | Friday Saturday
Celebrate local history in Gibsonburg this Friday and Saturday. Last year marked the bicentenary for Sandusky County, but due to COVID-19, the event couldn’t be celebrated to its fullest! This year, however, all the fun goes down. You can enjoy fireworks, live history presenters, live music, ghost stories, and more. There will also be food trucks and craft vendors for you to visit.
The gates open on Friday, August 13th at 3pm and on Saturday, August 14th at 11am. The park entrance is at 60 County Road in Gibsonburg.
Note City Balloon Fest | Findlay | Every weekend
A Findlay tradition is back and this weekend, when you look up at the sky, you see more than the brilliant sun. Findlay is filled with colorful hot air balloons for the Flag City Balloon Fest. If a hot air balloon ride is on your wish list, this is your chance to tick it off. There are balloon rides and much more all weekend long!
In addition to the rides, there is also live music, a petting zoo and pony rides, a handicraft show, fair food and of course, what everyone is waiting for … the illuminations.

Yoga with chamber orchestra music | Toledo Botanical Garden | 19 o’clock
You can enjoy a unique spin with your regular yoga classes in one of Toledo’s beautiful metroparks. Move your outdoor yoga session to the tranquil Toledo Botanical Gardens, with live chamber music played by local musicians in the background.

The Social Butterfly Outdoor Expo | Lucas County Recreation Center | 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Get out and socialize at the Social Butterfly Outdoor Expo this Saturday. You can browse all of the local merchandise from the vendors during this completely outdoor event. While you shop, have lunch in one of the food trucks, enjoy live music, and maybe even win a door prize.
Free Comic Tag | Monarch Comics | 11 clock
Do you love a good old comic book? Saturday is your day at Monarch Comics with their FREE Comic Book Day. You will have a wide variety of free comics ranging from action-packed superheroes to spooky horror to light-hearted humor.
You will also have a number of awesome cosplayers dressed up as your favorite heroes for photos and there will be free ice cream from Shivers.
Art in the garden Insecta Botanica | Artist village in the Botanical Garden of Toledo | 11 am-6pm
Art and nature lovers combine their passions with Art in the Garden in the Toledo Botanical Garden this weekend. The artist village will be full of life. So take a look at the beautiful landscape and watch artists at work with various demonstrations. You can also see a variety of exhibits, and glass, pottery, and other art are for sale.
Enjoy live music, watch a chalk artist, and sample goodies at Eric’s Ice Cream Factory and Bea’s Blend Coffee.
This event is completely free.
Halupki Festival | Orthodox Church of the Holy Assumption | Noon-7 p.m.
Another summer festival for 419 festivals, the Halupki Festival, takes place on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. This festival is all about Polish culture, so come out and enjoy great food, shopping and polka.
Quinstock | Twin Oast Brewing | Noon-10 p.m.
Don’t worry, be a hippie! That’s the thought at Twin Oast Brewing this Saturday during Quinstock. They have a new brew on the menu, Berry Delish, and it’s a wicked brew fermented on strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries that promises to make you feel groovy.
Come and enjoy live music, food trucks and of course Berry Delish. It’s $ 10 at the entrance, and kids 12 and under get in for free.
Oliver Hazard Day | Downtown Waterville | 4:30 p.m.
One of your favorite local bands has its own day – and you can be a part of it! The Waterville-based band will have their annual festival downtown and you can stop by and join the fun. The indie rockers will play and some great brews will be available.
Barefoot on the beach | Maumee Bay State Park | 6 p.m.
It’s time to go barefoot on the beach! That annual tradition is back, so get your tickets and head to Maumee Bay on Saturday night to be part of the action. This Toledo Boys & Girls Club benefit includes live music, food, fireworks, and more!
