Toledo Mud Hens collaborate with Team Recovery

Canceling topics like Star Wars Day and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Night, the Toledo Mud Hens tackle one serious topic: Heroin, with Hens and Heroin. The ball club has pledged 100 percent of the evening’s proceeds to help recover from addiction in the region. The Mud Hens are working with Team Recovery at this second team event to help with heroin abuse. When the hens compete against the Gwinnett Braves, there are bouncy castles, games, food, and information on heroin and addiction support. There will be an addiction panel at 5:00 p.m. in Hensville before the 7:00 p.m. game, followed by a free Facing the Demons sober concert in Hensville. 5-11 p.m. Thursday June 29th. Fifth Third Field, St. Clair St., See Hens VS Heroin on Facebook for more information.
