Summer camps 2021 in northwest ohio

Here is a list of the summer camps taking place in and around the greater Toledo area in the coming months.

TOLEDO, Ohio – Summer is just around the corner and we look forward to all of the camps available throughout the season. Sports or science, there is sure to be a camp for your children. Belief center

The Believe Center runs summer camps for ages 8 to 14. All camps have a $ 25 registration fee and will be picked up at the Teen Forum on June 3rd and the annual Carnival June 3-6. To learn more or to register, visit the website.

Sandusky County bonfire

Camp Fire Sandusky County, 3 miles from downtown Fremont, hosts summer camps for all teenagers under the age of 14. You don’t have to be a member to participate. All camps are $ 160 per child per week. For more information or to register, visit the Camp Fire Sandusky County website here.

Imagination station

From coding to a seriously messy science, Imagination Station hosts camps for kids ages 6-13. On-site camp programs are $ 200 for members and $ 225 for non-members. Campers receive daily lessons from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 2 snacks a day, extended day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at no additional cost, take-away activities and daily newsletters as well as free admission for the immediate family on the last day of camp from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Here you can register online.

  • Camper’s Guide to the Galaxy – June 28th – July 2nd; July 5th to 9th; 12-16 July

Blast into space as campers travel the galaxy! Along the way, they will encounter a myriad of challenges that they must solve in order to return to Earth safely – exploring rockets, rovers, stars, craters and comets in the process.

  • Piratenologie – 19.-23. July; 26.-30. July; 2nd to 6th August

Come on board and explore the science that made it possible for pirates to sail the seven seas. Courageously search for the treasure of the old salty seal Captain Gizmo and experiment with code breaking, ship design, weather and navigation.

Campers pop bubbles, experiment with eggs, create colorful clutter and ignite eruptions. Get ready for a BLAST exploring the sticky, slimy, and sloppy side of science!

  • Do. Code. Create. June 28th – July 2nd; July 5th to 9th; 12-16 July

During a week of fun, campers discover circuits, make moving parts and CODE robots and microbits. Then they will use everything they have learned to make an exhibition prototype.

  • Design it! – July 19-23; 26.-30. July; 2nd to 6th August

Campers will put their engineering design skills to the test as they solve a number of challenges. Rescue animals, design a variety of vehicles, find a safe way to land astronauts on another planet, find out how to survive on a desert island, create a game, and much more!

Toledo Metroparks

Through immersive nature walks, finding living things, hands-on experiments, arts and crafts, games, archery, and canoeing, campers get to know the habitats of northwest Ohio better and learn fun, exciting ways to be good stewards. Fee: $ 160 (members $ 150), reservations

  • Art of Nature Virtual Camp – June 28th – July 2nd

Campers will enjoy age-appropriate eco-friendly arts activities that explore metropark living spaces through upcycling crafts, journaling, painting, drawing, music, and more! All materials provided. Internet access required. $ 25, reservations

  • Mountain Bike Camp – July 26th – 30th [Waiting List]

The content of the mountain bike camp is geared towards the skills and abilities of campers between the ages of 11 and 14 and is not suitable for younger children. Fee: $ 225 (members $ 215), reservations

Schedel Arboretum & Gardens

Science, art, and unique skills camps will be offered at Schedel Arboretum & Gardens in Elmore, OH for the 2021 summer season. Students can only register for 1 week of camp. The limit is 20 students per session. To find out more about the camps or to register, visit the website here.

Cedar Point Sports Center

The Cedar Point Sports Center is offering 7 summer camps starting June 17th this year. Each camp is a 4 day camp and a daily snack is included in the registration. All campers receive a t-shirt. St. Francis De Sales Knights

The St. Francis de Sales School organizes 11 sporty summer camps between 5 sports from June to July. Camps are available for 3rd to 9th grade students, with most of the camps being held together. Central Catholic
