Robert Easter Jr. is a wanted man for Toledo, OH. Woman was reportedly badly beaten and bloody.

Former IBF lightweight champion Robert Easter Jr. is reportedly on the run after allegedly knocking a woman unconscious near his home in Toledo, OH.

Toledo police are looking for Easter after a woman accused him of slapping her face early Saturday morning, according to several reports. The unidentified victim claims she lost consciousness at Easter from the hard slap in the face that caused her with a split lip and a broken tooth. The current state of the alleged victim of assault is currently unknown.

Easter was charged with simple assault, a first degree offense in the state of Ohio for the incident. The police remain vigilant in their search after Easter and hope to arrest him soon.

The 30-year-old Easter held the IBF lightweight title from 2016 to 2018 and last fought Ryan Martin in February with a unanimous decision victory. In July 2018, he lost the IBF lightweight title to Mikey Garcia.

Before his loss to Garcia, Easter was one of the most dominant boxers in the world with a 21-0 record in the ring.

Just hours after the local police announced the charges, Easter posted a brief message on his Facebook page about a party at nearby Tommie’s Sports Bar and Grille, a bar he is co-owner.

The whereabouts of Easter are currently unknown and family members of the victim have not yet commented on the incident. Easter has been a professional boxer since 2013 and has no criminal history.
